Triple Lindy

This beer is perfect a late September day trip to the beach. Even better for explaining to your business professor how business works in the real world - not Fantasyland.

Type of Beer: Triple IPA

Look at that can. That gorgeous, gorgeous can.

The best dive in history. Truly. The olympics ain't got nothing on Dangerfield in 1986's Back to School.

Triple Lindy, the dive, is amazingly absurd. Guy bounces off several diving boards, going side to side and flipping over and over. That said, the abv isn't too far off at 10%. Have enough Triple Lindys and each will feel like a springboard toward a deep, deep pool of intoxication.

Thornton Melon knew this. That's why he invited a few ladies on over to join him and Lou (Paulie from Rocky) to split a pitcher of cold beer. Can't go all night on 10-percenters. Then again, he wants a pitcher of beer brought over every 7 minutes until someone passes out. Then, he wants the waitress to bring one every 10. All we know is that there better be some macro lager, mass produced beer in that pitcher.

Sidenote - ever notice that the kid in The Legend of Billie Jean shows up to play Dangerfield's son?

Mayflower Brewing Company Beer Description

Triple Lindy is Mayflower’s first dive (get it!?) into Triple New England IPA’s. This beer is by far the haziest and fruitiest IPA we have brewed to date and is remarkably smooth for a 10% ABV beer.

It pours a pineapple gold with a small but frothy head that drops soon after pouring. Enjoy the tropical and citrus medley of strong pineapple, jackfruit, orange, with a touch of cotton candy and vanilla. Slight sweetness up front but as NEIPA’s go, a fairly dry finish. Mouthfeel is creamy and silky from a hefty presence of oats in the malt bill.

Parents, are your kids heading back to school virtually or otherwise? Triple Lindy can help give you the liquid courage to dive into the deep end of another school year!

Final thoughts on Triple Lindy

Tangerine. Some melon (pun not intended). A bit of booziness. Great tasting beer. Orange/Amber/Gold in color.
