Lucy and Howe possesses one of our favorite stories of how the brewery got it's name. Real quick, the brewer's daughter heard the name Lucien Howe - who happened to be the guy who built the house that the brewery is in - and thought it was two people, Lucy, and Howe.
It's a better story than that, so go visit the brewery and hear the tale for yourself. Also, buy some of their Euro-inspired ales. Or, some of their Vermont-ingredient driven beers.
