| Read Time: 2 minutes
Welcome to the first edition of Thirsty Thursday, our weekly update on all things craft beer and beverage. As always, our goal is to help you find your next craft beverage.
› Editor's Note: Now we apologize for being a day late. Hey, it's summer and things are hectic as we prep for our VT Brew Fest attendance.
Featured Article: Craft Beer Podcasts
From Beer Guys Radio to The Beerists, we've scoured the web to find high quality beer news in radio format. Some podcasts focus on homebrewing, some on beer reviews, and some do it all.
We cover it all with our guide to the Best Beer Podcasts.
Featured Beer: Das Weizen
Das Weizen is a really great beer from Springdale Beer Company, the sister brewery of Jack's Abby.
Featured Brewery: Thomas Hooker Brewery @ Colt
We really enjoyed our visit to the Thomas Hooker Brewery in Hartford a little while back. The patio had a great view of the entire city and the chips & salsa were a treat.
Beers we recommend:
- Goat-ade
- Super Duper Double Citra
- Tom Lager
Featured City: Hartford, CT
Might as well stay in the Constitution State with our city of the week. Hartford has a bunch of great spots for fresh craft beer, including the aforementioned Thomas Hooker Brewery @ Colt. One of our favorites is the City Steam Brewery, a brewpub that's part comedy club, part Skee-ball house, and part Karaoke factory. That's a holy trifecta in our books.
Check out our Hartford Brewery Guide.
Featured News: Azadi Brewing & Their Indian Ingredients
Bhavik Modi and Ray Schrand have founded a brewery in Chicago where each beer has a distinct ingredient from traditional Indian cuisine. It's a great example of bringing worldy flavors to the mouths of craft beer lovers stateside. Well done.
