The Best Breweries, Brewpubs & Taprooms in Oklahoma

Over half of the Sooner State's 60+ breweries reside in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. That doesn't mean you should discount Norman, Edmond, or even Broken Bow, where a handful of small batch microbreweries and taprooms are plying their trade.

OK doesn't have the most breweries per capita, nor does it have anywhere close to the most breweries in the United States. In fact, the 60+ breweries & taprooms that exist in-state are really only double Rhode Island. So, half as many microbreweries with twice as many people. That stings a bit.

Oklahoma breweries do produce great craft beer though. From Broken Bow to Krebs, and from Downtown Tulsa to Automobile Alley in Oklahoma City, it is our mission to sample every new brewery, and every old taproom in the OK. And if we have to guzzle a few bourbon barrel stouts to do so, then so be it!

Oklahoma craft beer festivals

The 9th Annual Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival is coming up on August 1st, 2020. It features 75-80 brewers from all over the world, with over 25 of them being local to OK. The Oklahoma Craft Beer Summit was held in May. Put on by the Craft Brewers Association of Oklahoma, this year's event was held virtually, with brewers from various breweries serving as panelists and discussing the current state of everything craft beer.
