Founded in 1994, Stark Brewing is one of the fun breweries in Manchester, New Hampshire. Their cream ale, Mt. Uncanoonuc, has a well balanced malt/hop profile, with decent carbonation and an overall smooth mouthfeel. Maybe a hint of honey, maybe a hint of spice, but definitely a note or two of bread. ## {{ brewery }} Beer Description Hail the Ale This beer is named after the Uncanoonuc Mountains in nearby Goffstown. Cream ales were first brewed to compete with brewers making pale lagers in the Northeast and designed to be light and drinkable. We ferment ours longer and at a colder temperature to give it a crisp, clean finish. A taste of history. Made with barley, wheat, hops, water. ## Hops & Malts used in the {{ beername }} brewing recipe ## Final thoughts on {{ beername }} Crisp and refreshing like a German-style lager, Mt. Uncanoonuc certainly has a place in our will-drink-again list.
