Cliffside Brewing

Owner/brewer Dave Durant was a small-batch home brewer for a long time. Received some positive brew reviews, then took the hobby professional with the downtown Wallingford tasting room, just 10 minute drive to Quinnipiac University and 20 minutes from downtown New Haven. From Cliffside’s location, at the corner of Routes 5 and 150, you can walk to a bunch of restaurants, if you’d prefer to eat there before or after a few pints. The taproom / nanobrewery opened in the fall of 2017. At the time, they offered guest taps. Not sure if they still do. The Enlightenment (Apricot fruit beer) is neither heavy on the fruit, nor overpowering. And by pizza, we mean pizza with meat. Plus, a popcorn machine. - Cheese - Pepperoni - Sausage - Buffalo Chicken - Cajun Bacon ## Brewery Entertainment & Events Trivia nights on the occasional Friday. Board games are available for the kids. TV for sports, Cliffside Brewing is a good place to watch a few innings in the summer. However, no dogs allowed.
