After being a home brewer for a number of years, John Kimmich founded the Alchemist in 2003 in Waterbury, Vermont. Kimmich moved the brewery to it's current location in Stowe back in 2016. With an ever-growing demand for their products (tasty beers), the brewery became one of the largest employers in the area. We're big fans of both The Alchemist's beer, and, Stowe, VT.
